Brief JD:
The role is responsible for managing a team of skilled Network Engineers for network design & build enterprise network. Qualified Manager will be experienced in processes, technology & requires strong communication skills. An ideal candidate knows how to innovate and make decisions on his/her own, but also knows how to take direction when it is given, paying attention to all details involved.
Qualifications:
· Minimum 10+ years of hands on experience in networking technology & Service Delivery ( Put together)
· Working knowledge of, or experience with, Enterprise Network design & build (implementation)
· Requires operational processes and technical foundations
· Experience working directly with global IT teams
· Experience on people management
· Demonstrated and developed creative problem-solving capabilities
· Excellent communication and writing skills
· Disciplined organization and planning skills
· Self-motivated, adaptable, positive attitude & Conflict Resolution.
· Talent evaluation and recruitment
· Experience in budgeting & revenue forecasting.
· Experience with Microsoft Visio and advanced experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
· Understanding of logical network design including: LAN, WAN,SDWAN, DMZ, WAN, MPLS and client connectivity solutions
· Required knowledge of routing protocols MPLS, RIP, BGP,EIGRP.
· Required knowledge of LAN & WLAN - Meraki (advantage)
· Required knowledge of preparing Hardware BoM.
· Knowledge of network management tools such as NetMRI, NetBrain, Service Management Tools such as ServiceNow.
· Certifications in ITIL, PMP, Networking, Security (Preferred)
JOB FUNCTIONS:
· Direct/Manage/Supervise technical team for network design & build.
· Handle and supervise the projects in a structured manner.
· Runs the project from start to completion including the resolution of raised project issues.
· Ensure Project SLA's & KPIs are met as per the SOW.
· Monitor & Audit Time sheets.
· Work with the internal teams to improve productivity.
· Acts as a mentor to the Junior Project managers.
· Vendor Management & Co-ordination.
· Lead Project teams to deliver multiple, simultaneous projects that span across several business or technology areas.
· Implement and maintain quality control measures.
· Accountable for resolving all project level, cross-functional and escalations.
· Prepare Weekly, monthly project reports & engage regional stakeholders.
· Recruits, mentors, and builds an effective organization in support of the network team
· Knowledgeable and lead cross functional teams through projects with competing priorities.
· Accountable for Microland initiatives & objectives.
· Handle multi-tasks, prioritize and meet deadlines
· Ability to work efficiently and productively with minimal direction or guidance
· Capable of exercising extreme discretion and independent judgment
· Ability to communicate, both verbally and written, with a high level of confidence
