Job Responsibilities: 1. Participate actively in agile planning meetings, stand-ups and user story development and review 2. Interact with product owners, development and other testers to develop a strong understanding of the project and testing objectives 3. Function as an integral part of the agile project team 4. Pair with the Product Owner to review user stories and design robust acceptance criteria that includes alternate and negative test scenarios 5. Create test messages, in Swift, ISO, JSON and proprietary formats, to be used by the team for unit and acceptance testing of the story and related microservices 6. Execute user story acceptance testing and review results with the Product Owners, including testing of message mapping and translation, Swagger end points, data entries in database using SQL developer or MarkLogic queries, posting messages through solace queues, testing of the UI, regression tests and capturing test evidence. 7. Analyze issues found during testing and collaborate with Product Owners and developers to resolve them 8. Design integration tests for automation by the engineers 9. Partner with the SIT Test Manager to design E2E tests for automation 10. Participate in and support SIT testing for bi-weekly product releases 11. Support validation of automation tests 12. Create test data for use by the test automation suite 13. Involved in daily standup, Demo and Retrospective meetings. 14. Participate in non-functional test execution 15. Smoke test environment connectivity to other applications across all test environments NTAC:3NS-20 Required Project and Technical Experience: • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience in a related field • Experience working as part of an Agile development team (TDD, XP, Scrum) doing daily test design and execution. • Experience pairing with Product Owners or developers and writing robust user story acceptance criteria. • Experience working on Banking projects with detailed knowledge of the trade lifecycle is a plus • Detailed understanding of Banking Swift messages for Treasury Markets, Securities Markets, and financial institution transfers. • Experience creating Swift messages with business data for testing purposes. • Detailed understanding of banking ISO 20022 messages along with experience creating ISO messages with business data for testing purposes. • Experience working with XML and JSON formats. • CI/CD experience a plus • Experience using XQuery • Experience using XML Spy • Experience using Hermes to work with Solace queues • Experience using Flexi Sender for working on MQs • Experience with Pivotal Tracker or Jira • Web services testing experience using POSTMAN • Experience using HP Application Lifecycle Management Other: • Flexible to accommodate weekend work if required
